Richard Kantor
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Richard grew up playing competitive sports. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and went on to a successful career acting in television and films and later directing and teaching. He also created a multi-million dollar business in the fashion industry with clients as diverse as Barneys, Macy’s, True Religion, and Guess.
Richard has trained in a variety of disciplines, from athletic training and performance with a certification through NASM [National Association of Sports Medicine], Co-Active Coach training through CTI ( Coaches Training Institute), advanced certification with ICF (The International Coach Federation), ongoing acting training and under the leadership of world-renowned Randall Churchill at the Hypnotherapy Training Institute as a Master Hypnotist, and Regression Specialist. He is a state-certified Hypnotherapist as well as by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
Over the years working as a coach, he noticed that with many clients, despite their talent, drive, or hard work, certain mental blocks, stories about who they were, or past experiences, would hold them back, feeling as though what they longed for was out of reach. Through a desire to help them break free and harness the power of the unconscious brain, he has brought hypnotherapy into his range of working with clients on their “inner and outer game,” producing unique outcomes and results previously out of reach to many.
Richard’s mission is to help others become free from the limiting thoughts that keep them constrained and anxious and live their lives with more happiness, freedom and power.
